Join us at Main Plaza for Mariposas on the Plaza, a special Día de los Muertos gathering in the heart of downtown San Antonio, held in conjunction with the city’s Día de los Muertos River Parade.
Honor and remember those who came before us by purchasing a monarch butterfly ornament, adding the name of a loved one or a personal message, and placing it among the mariposas on the Plaza. Inspired by the monarch butterfly’s enduring connection to Día de los Muertos, this meaningful tradition offers a beautiful way to celebrate the lives, memories, and stories that remain with us.
